How can physical therapists treat patients online?

Most of know physical therapy as a very ‘hands on’ profession. What most patients don't know, however, is that a vast majority of common injuries and chronic complaints can be treated effectively with no manual intervention whatsoever. That's where we come in.

We've taken the physical therapy evaluation process completely online, meaning you as the patient have convenient, one-on-one access to an experienced results-driven physical therapist at your own location.

Working with you through our webforms, video consultations, and lots of Q&A time, we can uniquely assess your condition and formulate a solution or rehabilitation plan specific to your needs.

Modern physical therapy no longer relies on complex machines and manual techniques, and is trending towards guided treatment plans and informed self-care. Modern diagnostic and treatment methods for common injuries and complaints are readily applicable in online consultations, and there is extensive research to support evidence of online treatment success.

Rest assured, if in our initial evaluation, or at any point during treatment, we believe you would be better served by a traditional hands on approach we do also offer mobile in person sessions.  If we believe PT alone or not at all to be the correct option we will refer you for other professional health assessments.

If you have any questions, or wish to know if your condition is suitable for an online consultation, please click below to speak with one of our therapists via email.

We look forward to seeing you at Calibrated PT!
